As a state visit by the Russian Prime Minister and his sharp-witted daughter, Alex (Francesca Capaldi), is announced, T.J. is tasked with showing Alex around. The two 12-year-olds quickly bond over the pressures of having famous parents. In a bid to experience ordinary teenage life, they sneak out of the White House grounds to attend a party. However, their harmless adventure takes a dangerous turn when two masked kidnappers attempt to capture them.

The film takes the heroic German Shepherd from his origins in a war zone and places him in the heart of American politics—the White House.
