What is the form TP1 used for?
As part of the new vehicle licensing system a number of enhanced security measures are being introduced. Please note:

  • If you are changing your vehicle or transferring the ownership of your licence you are required to return the old tamper-proof discs
  • f you are unable to return your old tamper-proof discs you must complete the declaration TP1 form downloadable below and provide some evidence that the discs have been destroyed
  • If no documentary evidence can be provided, you must complete Form TP2. To obtain a TP2 form, you must pay a fee of €50. This can be done by phoning 0761 064 000.
